These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReceiptPanda's website at receiptpanda.com and application at app.receiptpanda.com (collectively, the "Service"), operated by ReceiptPanda ("we", "our", or "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use ReceiptPanda. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To use most features of ReceiptPanda, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your password and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately at support@receiptpanda.com of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ReceiptPanda only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to process fraudulent, fabricated, or falsified expense data
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without written permission
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security features
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Resell, sublicense, or provide commercial access to the Service without our written consent
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
4. Subscription Plans and Payment
Free Plan
The Starter plan is free and available to individual users. Features and usage limits may change with prior notice.
Paid Plans
Pro and Business plans are billed monthly or annually per seat. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until cancelled.
- All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise
- Prices exclude applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout
- Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund on your first paid subscription if you are not satisfied. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact support@receiptpanda.com.
5. Your Data
You retain full ownership of your data. By using ReceiptPanda, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service.
We will not access your data except to provide support you request, maintain the Service, or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Intellectual Property
The ReceiptPanda name, logo, software, and all related content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Integrations
ReceiptPanda integrates with third-party services such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho. Your use of those integrations is also governed by the third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice or emergency maintenance without notice. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service interruptions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
ReceiptPanda is an expense tracking tool and is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or tax professional. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECEIPTPANDA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReceiptPanda and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
